Blaupunkt adds 3 new devices to its TravelPilot lineup, including TravelPilot 100, 200 and 300. The TravelPilot is an entry-level model which will be priced at 129Euro, while the TravelPilot 300is is the high-end model with a price tag of 299Euro. The TravelPilot 200 will be available for 179Euro. All of them will be available in March.

A gaggle of miniaturised notebooks, collectively called the Mini 1000, is now available in various configurations. These are less capable than full-fledged laptops, but ideal for using the internet on the go.

Bharti Airtel Launches DTH Service

Bharti Airtel has launched its direct to home satellite TV service , Airtel digital TV , which will be available to customers through 21,000 retail points including Airtel Relationship Centres in 62 cities across India starting October 9 , 2008.

According to the company , Airtel digital TV uses MPEG4 standard with DVB S2 technology, which claims to provide better picture clarity and high quality audio. This latest technology is also claimed to enable delivery of more complex interactive content and is high definition ready. Airtel digital TV also uses 20% larger dish antenna that is claimed to offer better performance during rains. The company claims that the direct to home satellite (DTH) TV service offers universal remote both for set top box and TV; high set top box memory; exculsive content such as World Space Radio ; Interactive applications such as iMatinee , Travel , iShop and Widgets Update.

LG KC780 – 8 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA PHONE

LG Electronics , a worldwide technology and design leader in mobile communications , announced its LG-KC780, a slim 8 megapixel camera phone with special features that make it ideal for shooting portraits.
Other functionality includes light sensitivity up to ISO 1600, a built-in image Stabiliser , D1 video recording and motion sensor gaming. It’s not short of natty gimmicks either – the Smile Shot mode automatically triggers the shutter when it determines that the subject is smiling, while Beauty Mode allows users to remove any imperfections, ensuring faces appear bright and clear in photos.

The LG-KC780 is a slim slider phone at just 13.9 mm thick, but manages to include a large 2.4-inch widescreen LCD. The phone is designed to ensure that its myriad camera features are convenient and easy to use. A Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens ensures that the LG-KC780′s camera takes high quality photos that are sharp and clear.

There are not many details about the LG KC780 now, but it seems genuine as it has already passed through the US FCC website. Among the little specification details we now is the LG KC780 have quad-band GSM support, but unfortunately no 3G. The LG-KC780 will also have Bluetooth and a microSD card slot plus 30fps video recording ( the video resolution is not yet clear). We are really hoping though that this one will look better in reality than what’s pictured here. It will be launched in markets most probably from November 2008.
